A legacy of resilience, rooted in Western NY

MEET OUR FOUNDER

Duane Duncan

Hi, I’m Duane Duncan, founder and owner of Niagara Industrial Mechanical. For nearly four decades I have built this company from the ground up with craftsmanship, trust, and precision at the center. What started as a small job shop in Niagara Falls has grown into a full-service industrial mechanical contractor that industries across Western New York depend on.

take a look at our journey over the years

Veteran Leadership, Local Excellence

As a US Navy veteran, I bring a disciplined, mission-focused mindset to every project. That experience taught me the importance of foresight, accountability, and doing the job right the first time. At NIM, we carry those values forward. We do not just build systems. We build resilience that gives our clients peace of mind.

Forged by Craft, Enhanced by Legacy

When we joined with Croisdale Fabrication crew, a respected family-run metalworking business with more than 90 years of history in this region, we combined generations of craftsmanship with modern systems and equipment.

for our clients this means:

expanded fabrication power, including CNC Waterjet & Plasma cutting, sheering, bending and forming under one roof.

Generational skill and deep knowledge of metalwork combined with NIM’s precision and process discipline

A stronger foundation of reliability in every weld, cut, and install

Growing Stronger With Hugo Electrical

Joining the ownership team at HUGO Electrical Services, a Western NY company founded by veterans with the same focus on integrity and technical excellence that defines NIM, allows us to have a partnership that delivers:

• Seamless mechanical and electrical services in one place
• Faster timelines and more efficient coordination
• Clearer communication and accountability across trades.

Built on Relationships. Defined by Results.

Our growth has always come from strong relationships and proven results. We have built long-standing trust with companies like ReWorld, Dolomite Group, IMA Life, and CRH because we consistently deliver precision, safety, and value. We are proud to be rooted in Niagara Falls and committed to serving the industries that keep this region moving.

Why This Matters to You

If you need more than a vendor, you need a partner who understands the risks you face, who delivers clarity under pressure, and who builds systems that last. That is the kind of partner we strive to be every day at NIM.

Let’s Build a Reliable Future Together

We have supported major industrial clients across Western NY for over 30 years, delivering quality that speaks louder tan website promises – same crews, same standards.
